About the Owner

Love and Confection evolved from baker Robin Frazier Anderson’s long time love of delicious, beautifully decorated sweets. As a child, Robin enjoyed helping her mother prepare cakes, breads, pies, doughnuts and the like. These goodies were highly anticipated by all the locals from church members to neighbors, friends, and family.

Baking however was just one of Robin’s passions, she has a compassion for people. Robin went on to graduate from George Washington University and has worked in the field of Nuclear Medicine for over 30 years.

How she started

As an empty-nester, having both of her daughters in college, Robin decided to pursue custom cake decorating. First creating cakes, cupcakes and treats for friends and family, and eventually baking for profit as Love and Confection.

Today Love and Confection has expanded far beyond just cakes, offering: full dessert tables, cupcakes, alcohol infused cupcakes, and custom treats. Robin loves her interaction with customers and is delighted to help make their life event special! Stay tuned, this is just the beginning for Love & Confection.
